Happiness Is Handmade

One of my favorite hand-made items have always been quilts.  Anyone who create's these marvelous works, I sincerely admire as I know the time and patience it takes to create even the smallest.  I'd like to bring in the New Year and share with you in this first post of 2015, A wonderful artisan whom I've met through a team I belong to on Etsy.  Not only does she create and sell hand-made items, but vintage goods as well.   I introduce you to...

from the Etsy shop...

and some of her lovely and creative works of art.

My most favorite of her works listed is this beautiful

Made with Cotton fabric, flannel backing, cotton batting, and cotton chenille.

This wonderful quilt is ready for the baby boy.

features faux fur embroidered Teddy Bear's and comes in a 36.5" x 36.5".

Lastly I share with you this adorable

Pink and White, Elephant, Piggy, Bunny, and Kitty Quilt

that would make a great addition to that little girls nursery!  This one measures 41" x 41".  All of Laura's quilts are machine washable and dryer safe tested.

I hope you'll stop by to browse Laura's entire inventory of handmade and vintage gifts, quilts, cards, and home decor.

These are beautiful! I can't imagine how much time and thought goes into creating one of these quilts.
My favorite is the purple quilt with dragonflies as well. Actually, I love all of them! I'm happy to see this.
